Span 60, 80 1. Brief Introduction:
Span series products are nonionic surfactant
with excellent emulsifying, dispersing and wetting property.
It is odorless, tasteless and nontoxic to human body. It is
not only used as food emulsifier, but also as ideal industrial
emulsifier.

Span 60: sorbitol anhydride monostearate
Span 80: sorbitol anhydride monooleate

4. Main Uses:
They are used as important ingredient in oil
preparation of synthetic fibres such as polyacrylonitrile,
polyamide fibre, viscose fibre and so on. It also can be used
as metal machining fluid and brightener in leather industry,
as emulsifier in coating, pesticide and plastic industry.
As fog inhibitor, span 60 is widely used in film
plastic processing industry.
Span 80 is used as an important emulsifier for
emulsified dynamite.
5. Packing, Storage and Transportation:
Span 60: 25kg/barrel lined with plastic
bag.
Span 80: 25kg/plastic barrel or 200kg/iron
barrel.
Stored in dry, ventilated, shady and cool place. Don't place
upside down and keep away from rain and sunlight during storage
and transportation. The storage period is two years.
